Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KINGS handles information submitted through the website, contact forms, giving links, prayer requests, ministry interest, and church communication.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how KINGS may collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use our website, contact the church, submit a form, give online, join a program, or interact with our ministries.

Our aim is to handle information with care, discretion, and love while using it only for reasonable church, communication, pastoral, ministry, and administrative purposes.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, location, branch preference, enquiry type, prayer request, testimony, ministry interest, KINGS Connect interest, event interest, giving-related enquiry, or other message details.

We may also receive basic technical information from normal website use, such as browser type, device information, pages visited, referral links, and approximate usage activity if analytics or hosting tools are active.

3. How we use information

We may use submitted information to respond to enquiries, help you plan a Sunday visit, route prayer requests, follow up on testimonies, help you locate a KINGS Connect group, coordinate discipleship interest, organize ministry service, respond to giving enquiries, and communicate about events or programs you asked about.

We may also use information to improve website communication, church administration, event planning, pastoral care, and the way we serve people through KINGS ministries.

4. Prayer requests, testimonies, and sensitive information

Prayer requests and testimonies can contain personal or sensitive details. Please only share information you are comfortable submitting online.

We handle these submissions with care and route them only to people who reasonably need access for prayer, pastoral follow-up, testimony review, or ministry response.

Online forms are not emergency channels. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent medical, legal, mental health, or safety support, contact local emergency services or trusted professional help directly.

5. Giving and payment information

KINGS may provide bank transfer details and links to payment platforms. We do not ask you to submit card details directly through our website contact forms.

Payment information processed by third-party services such as Flutterwave, PayPal, Cash App, banks, or similar platforms is handled according to those providers own terms, security systems, and privacy policies.

If you contact us about a gift or transfer, we may use the details you provide to identify, confirm, or respond to the transaction enquiry.

6. Cookies, analytics, and website tools

The website may use hosting, analytics, security, or performance tools that collect limited technical information to help the site work properly and understand general usage.

If third-party embeds or links are used, such as YouTube, Mixlr, Instagram, maps, or payment providers, those services may use their own cookies or tracking technologies.

7. Third-party services

KINGS may link to or use third-party services for videos, audio streaming, social media, maps, forms, email, event registration, giving, and hosting.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external platforms. Please review the privacy policy of any third-party service you choose to use.

8. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information internally with KINGS pastors, leaders, staff, volunteers, ministry teams, or service providers where access is reasonably needed to respond to you, provide pastoral care, run programs, administer the website, process communication, or comply with applicable obligations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, safety concerns, legal process, or to protect people, the church, or the integrity of our systems.

9. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was submitted, church administration, ministry follow-up, record keeping, dispute handling, security, or legal obligations.

Retention periods may differ depending on whether the information relates to a general enquiry, prayer request, testimony, event, ministry enrollment, giving enquiry, or pastoral follow-up.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

No website, email system, form tool, or internet transmission is completely secure, so please avoid submitting information you would not want transmitted online.

11. Children and young people

The website is intended for general church communication and is not designed to collect information directly from children without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the matter.

12. Your choices and rights

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have submitted, request a correction, ask for deletion where appropriate, withdraw from non-essential communication, or raise a privacy concern.

Some requests may need to be balanced with church administration, pastoral care, safety, event records, giving records, or legal obligations.

13. International services

Some third-party tools used by this website or linked from it may store or process information outside Nigeria. Those services operate according to their own infrastructure, terms, and privacy practices.

14. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, forms, third-party tools, communication channels, and ministry operations develop.

The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
